Intelligence Fusion Centre (IFC I + II)
Project manager’s team architect for this 6500m² intelligence analysis centre, which is NATO funded with significant requirements for SCIF secure areas. The building connects with the existing building via a central ‘atrium space enabling multi-agency collaboration.
Modular Administration Facility (MAF)
Project manager’s team architect for this 10,000m² mission specific intelligence centre. The entire envelope of this two-storey building is designed to SCIF standards. The layout and specification was developed to accommodate the brief delivery via a modular build.
Data Centre
A new 600m² data centre plus associated site and services infrastructure for the American Intelligence Agency. Project manager’s team architect for this pilot scheme for a multi-site programme of centres.
RAF Halton
Catering Facility
The development was for the refurbishment and extension of Henderson Mess at RAF Halton to provide a modern Mess facility for the recruit population. English Heritage had an interest in the relationship of the Henderson Mess with the parade ground square. The project included a new dining hall and kitchens. The final design enabled catering for 1,000 recruits at a single sitting. The site was immediately adjacent to an Anglo Saxon Long Barrow; hence extensive liaison took place with English Heritage regarding the siting and design of the new build elements in relation to this ancient monument.
RAF Mildenhall
Base Chapel
Project Managers architect for refurbishment of the base chapel, including new glazing, lighting and internal finishes. The project also included the ‘community rooms’ associated with the complex.
Base entrance complex
Project Managers architect for redevelopment of the main entrance complex. This includes a new LVIS, Reception/Visitors Centre, entrance control and infrastructure work.
Dormitory Blocks
Fast track refurbishment project for two existing barrack blocks, completed at RAF Mildenhall. The commission was a design build contract with a value of approximately £3 million.
Youth Centre
Design build project for a new build youth centre. Completed on programme, the scheme provides a range of facilities including school rooms, gymnasium/sports hall and various activity rooms.
A/A operations support facility
A design and build bid for American Intelligence Agency Building, including a high degree of services co-ordination and construction co-ordination.
RAF Cranwell
Catering Facility
Project manager’s architect for refurbishment and redevelopment of the officers mess and dining facilities. The existing mess hall is a Grade II Listed building, hence the changes to the kitchens required close liaison with the LA conservation team
RAF Wittering

Project manager’s architect for a Sergeants Mess and Kitchen redevelopment. The project included a temporary kitchen facility and re-planning of the existing kitchen and servery areas.
