Architecture – We bring an experienced and enthusiastic view to the design of each building, striving to deliver quality and added value through architecture. Our expertise and passion is evident in the schemes that we have built and we believe that the success of an individual project is based on quality design combined with consistent and skilled technical delivery.

We start by getting to know our clients and building users’ aspirations. Combine this with rigorous site, conceptual and technical analysis and this forms the basis of our brief which is to be developed with  our clients. Throughout the design process regular design reviews and commercial appraisals ensure that each scheme meets the brief, aspirations and budgets that are set by our clients.

At the centre of the design process are our design teams, who are assembled specifically for each project to take that project from concept to completion. These teams are led by Directors, who oversee the evolution of each project and ensure that consistent quality is maintained during the design development process and through into the construction phase.

Master Planning – With wide ranging experience in masterplanning Frank Shaw Associates provide a comprehensive design-led and technical response to the unique challenges of establishing of a clear framework or strategy that is then subject to further design development.

Our designers take an interdisciplinary approach to developing both visionary and practical schemes for our clients and the places they are seeking to create. We approach each commission with a broad based view and a recognition that successful environments rely on a balance of environmental, social and economic factors to create sustainable planning solutions.

The masterplanning and urban design schemes delivered by Frank Shaw Associates include business parks, public spaces, science parks, mixed use developments, urban centres, school and college campuses.

Interior Design – Buildings are much more than their external appearance; the success of their functionality depends on their interiors. These need to meet the expectations and emotional needs of the end user. The style of any interior space should be considered an experience for the senses and as such should be in the mind of the designer from its concept.

Combining creative vision with functional skills and knowledge, our interior designers work with clients to develop design solutions that are aesthetically appealing, technically sophisticated and practically satisfying. Their work considers not only how something will look, but also how it will be used and therefore how it should be made.

Our designers have experience of a wide range of building types including: offices, hotels, schools, care homes and residential projects. Our interior designers can either work in line with our architects to provide an integrated package or independently with clients as the sole interior designer.
