Heanor Memorial Health Centre, Derbyshire

About This Project

The new Heanor Memorial Health Centre provides a multi-agency facility/base for community workers in the health service. This will allow a number of health professionals to provide outpatient clinics at a single location.

Consulting/ treatment rooms are booked by each health professional as they require to suit demand for their services. Numerous services are to be included and will vary from time to time but include School nurses, community midwifes, mental health teams, health promotion, minor surgery, audiology, podiatry, phlebotomy etc.

Office touchdown space is provided for the community health professionals providing an out of hours base for the access of records. A community room is also available which facilitates larger group activities such as parenting classes, support group meetings, and educational training for staff.
