Developed with the Trust under the NHS ProCure21 initiative, our design for the centre comprises a complex interaction of state-of-the-art facilities for cardio thoracic out-patients, diagnostics, surgery and intensive care, grouped around landscaped courtyards.
By integrating the new development into the existing hospital circulation pattern a new entrance has been created to the southern end of the site. This has had a strategic benefit in improving the wayfinding and legibility of the site.
