Ravensthorpe Primary School, Peterborough

About This Project

An extension to the existing school provides an additional 180 pupils and 20 staff bringing the total number of pupils and staff up to 420 and 45 respectively.

The design has incorporated the need to provide additional high quality new learning classrooms, additional circulation spaces and alterations to the internal spaces to accommodate the transition from a 1 form entry school to the proposed 2 form entry school. This included constructing 6 additional new classrooms, circulation space, storage and break out space to the existing school, together with the provision of new external glazed screens to existing West and South elevations. There is also new hard and soft play areas as well as games courts appropriate to the size of the new teaching spaces.
