Mexborough School is a 1350 place Secondary School in Doncaster. The school has specialist science status and incorporates a post 16 centre.
The new school’s design promotes community engagement, extended learning and has been invested with a sense of drama and dynamism in order to create an environment where pupils want to be, and where they will find learning an exciting and rewarding experience.
This school was part of a £40m PFI project and has achieved a Very Good BREEAM rating.
Notes. This is one of a broad range of Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council education projects including Children’s Centres, Special Educational Needs Schools and 6th Form Colleges. The design was the outcome of detailed engagement with the schools senior management team.
